Eddy Bouza
Director, Office of Resiliency and Coastal Protection, Florida Department of Environmental Protection
Eddy Bouza brings over 10 years of experience in the Public Sector in Government Administration and Community Development to the new Resilient Florida Program and previously served as a Deputy State Floodplain Manager in the Florida Division of Emergency Management. Eddy currently serves the Florida Floodplain Management Association Board as the “Champion of Leveraging” in the organization’s three-year strategic plan initiative. Eddy earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Biological Science and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration. He holds professional certifications in both floodplain management and supervisory management and enjoys walking trails with his kids and is a weekend DIY-er.
